Porsche patent sketches reveal new removable wind deflector for seats

Everybody loves the Porsche convertibles and but we have to admit that the most annoying thing on these vehicles is actually the wind… yes, this can ruin your girlfriend’s hair or your boyfriend… if he’s a rocker. It appears that Porsche wants to solve this issue with some detachable wind deflectors mounted in the region of a headrest.

Porsche patent sketches revealed plans for these removable wind deflectors and looking at the photos they actually look like a half of a helmet as they also feature lateral air guiding elements.

In order to make this wind deflector even more efficient, Porsche also developed an air guiding element for the top of the headrests, which protects your head even better. Still, we don’t know which car will get this type of wind deflector, which means we will have to wait until we see the real thing!
