It was recently made public by Hamann that they currently have a body kit for their tuning program for the 2009 BMW 7-Series. No details are yet available except that the kit comes with 22 inch wheels. A rear boot spoiler, a rear roof spoiler, four tailpipes and new side skirts compose the visual components. On the inside, the car comes with sporty pedals, and black leather seats and carpets with the Hamann log stitched on them. The preceding model of Hamann 7 (HM 7.1) was released in 2005 and was patterned after the 760i/L. The company raised the capacity of the factory V12 unit from 6.0 liters to 7.1 liters and can currently generate 510hp (375kW) and top torque of 728Nm. Sprint rate is enhanced from 0-100km/h to 5 seconds and maximum speed is bumped to 312km/h (194mph) compared to the preceding version. The 745i and 745iL models were the other cars tuned in the 7 Series range. Each of these models got a 5.2-liter V8 powerplant that can generate 412km/h (194mph) which is an improvement from the previous figures. The tuning firm is currently developing the program for the latest 7 Series and it is speculated that the base model will be driven by the latest 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 from the 750i/Li. It is expected that Hamann will also step up to the latest 760i/Li when the model is released.  [via worldcarfans]
