Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio

Official BMW tuning specialist Alpina is working on a package that will transform the 650i Convertible into the B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio. The factory stock twin-turbines on the 4.4-liter V8 engine will be dropped and will be replaced with new ones from Alpina. This boosts its power to 507 hp, which arrive at 5,500 rpm, while torque hits 516 lb-ft (700 Nm), which are delivered between 3,000 and 4,750 rpm.

As a result, the drop-top Alpina could accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and could reach a top speed of 193 mph (311 km/h). What’s remarkable about Alpina’s package is that the boost in performance won’t have an impact on the fuel efficiency.

Alpina asserts that this vehicle returns 10.9 liters per 100 km, while it has a CO2 emissions rating of 255 grams per km. Auto Motor und Sport reported that the B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio may arrive only at the Geneva Auto Show next year.
