Dartz nagel dakkar

A teaser of the Nagel Dakkar has been released. Russian driver Andrew Nagel is the inspiration for this vehicle being developed by Dartz, the Russian vehicle maker whose specialty is building armored SUVs. The Nagel Dakkar is in its very early stages of design. These sketches are courtesy of Dartz designer Alex Isaev, and German designer Pochwatta. Dartz wants its customers to have a choice and is thinking about making the vehicle with different bodies. The Nagel Dakkar will have a limited production run with only 10 units to be built next year. In 2014, production will double to 20 units. Starting 2015, Dartz will build 40 vehicles per year until 2017. This luxury SUV will be powered by a Mercedes-Benz 5.5-liter, V8 bi-turbo with 650-hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. The powerplant will be partnered with a seven-speed transmission while the vehicle itself will be built on a titanium tubular frame chassis. So that the SUV will be very light, plenty of carbon kevlar will be used on the chassis. Dartz said that this model has a price range of $390,000 to $468,000. Dartz didn’t say what it offers with the extra $78,000 or so but it’s bound to be exciting.
