Lamborghini LP560-4 GTV IMSA
In July of last year, IMSA revealed the most contained revision work for a Lamborghini. The idea was to couple Italian styling with German engineering, not unusual considering the German roots of the Lamborghini. Currently, a more potent GTV version of the Gallardo LP560-4 will be added to the range. Since the car appeared sufficiently wild from production, IMSA focused rather on increasing power yield up to 600hp (448kW), a 16hp (12kW) increase over the previous IMSA Gallardo and over 40hp (30kW) against the production version. The modifications on the exterior have been limited only to a tame body kit which adds to the car's striking appearance but does not change its already remarkable lines.
These external mods consist of slightly broader fenders, an revised front apron and rear air diffuser all in carbon fiber. The treatment is completed with a bespoke set of double-spoke locking alloys.
Also features are bespoke suspension and brake upgrades including 8 pistons at the front and 6 at the rear. Most of the enhancements are on the interior with alcantara-leather combination upgrade the seating and many of the control surfaces, while the cabin's trim are enhanced with aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). All of the modifications and enhancements come together in a "haptic climax," as IMSA aesthetically calls it.
