Protoscar Lampo teased ahead of Geneva debut

Protoscar LampoThe Lampo sporty electric vehicle of Protoscar, set for a world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week after lots of teasing. Details of the car have also been made available besides the 268hp (199kW) and 440 Nm of torque yield of the two BRUSA electric motors of the car which propels each axle for FWD capability. The motors are powered by a 32 kWh battery that enables the car to have a 120 miles (200 km) range. The Lampo comes with an ‚Äòintelligent‚Äô charging system that permits the driver to choose several charging options, such as shortest charging time, maximum yield, and the desired total level of charge to be reached in a given period. The Lampo can attain full charge in 12 hours via a 240V and 10-16amp typical European household current. There is however a strange turn of events as Protoscar sees the primary source of power for the Lampo as the sun. More details and photos after the jump! The manufacturer makes this claim due to its desire to see the spread of this power generation technology. This gives the Lampo 0g/km emission rate. However, even with the current electric grid of Switzerland were utilized it would just give the Lampo 7g/km of CO2 emission due to their extremely clean electricity generation. With the typical EU standard electricity produced by Eurelectric under the 2020 standards, the missions would be closer to 40g/km, but would still be under half of the current gasoline hybrid emission. Internally, this car is designated as ‚ÄòeQmotion‚Äô which means ‚Äòelectric quotient/quality motion‚Äô demonstrating the company‚ no-compromises 100% electric car that runs with the highest efficiency and lowest emissions possible. Protoscar, the Rovio-based company, is a small company that is dedicated to the design of eco-friendly vehicles and has worked in the past with carmakers such as Daimler AG, GM, Nissan and Rinspeed.
