Race Tools upgrades the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

After last week we showed you the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class by Kicherer, today another German tuner wanted to customize a little the new sedan. Race Tools, a German tuner revealed today its new programme for the E-Class, which consists in some ECU tweaking, so don't expect a new body kit. With the new Ecu tweaking, according to the manufacturer the Diesel engines receive extra hp but also a fuel consumption decrease (1.3 l/100 km). Ok so here are the new numbers: for 529 the E220 CDI is boosted from 170 hp and 400 Nm to 205 hp and 470 Nm while the top speed is increased from 231 km/h too 240 km/h ; for 579 the E250 CDI is upgraded from 204 to 246 hp, from 500 to 590 Nm while the top speed increased from 242 km/h to 250 km/h; for 599 the E350 CDI is upgraded from 231 to 270 hp, receives a torque of 620 Nm and a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
