Land Rover revealed today the updated 2013 Range Rover Sport. The 2013MY Range Rover Sport comes with several updates such as a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels, five new paint finishes (Barolo, Barossa, Causeway, Havana and Mariana), red Brembo brake calipers (for the Supercharged model), a wide choice of interior colour combinations and new carbon fibre veneer pack. The interior offers two new interior trim combinations, but customers can also opt for a new carbon veneer pack, adding a sharp, contemporary look to the interior. The Range Rover port comes equipped with the highest level of audio equipment: a High-Ice Harmon Kardon system delivering 380W of sound from a total of 11 speakers.
For those who want even more, the Harmon Kardon Logic system produces an astonishing 825W from no less than 17 speakers. A 7-inch touchscreen with Dual View technology is also available, allowing the driver to view the navigational display and the passenger to watch a DVD. The engines offered on the 2013MY Range Rover Sport are the same as last year. We find the 3.0-litre EU5 diesel delivering 256 PS and a maximum torque of 600 Nm and CO2 emissions of 230g/km.
The same engine is offered with 211 PS and 520 Nm of torque. CO2 emissions are 224 g/km. the 245 PS 3.0-litre with 6-speed transmission is fitted in markets where EU4 emissions regulations remain in force. The naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine delivers 375 PS and 510 Nm torque. The most powerful version is powered by a 5.0-litre Supercharged, delivering 510 PS and 625 Nm of torque. CO2 emissions are 327g/km and 348g/km respectively. All engines offer the ZF automatic gearboxes, the EU5 diesels coupled to the ZF 8HP70 8-speed and the petrol engines, the ZF HP28 6-speed. Gears are selected by the rotary gear shifter and steering wheel paddle shift.
