Renault finally confirmed its intentions to launch a new two-seater convertible at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. The new model will be built on the Twingo platform but the French manufacturer plans to offer a unique design. The new car will be a two-seat coupe-convertible with a folding metal roof which will be pitched as a sporty model but without being a proper sports car.
According to our sources, a Gordini version is also possible in the future. Renault is expected to release an official teaser with the new car within the next two weeks, although photos appeared on the web showing a 1:43-scale model of the vehicle and some sources confirmed it as the real thing. For those who don´t know, this car is not the only one which will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, as Renault will also launch the new Megane coupe-cabriolet.
