Renault's low-cost brand, Dacia, will have a new managing director on Nov. 26. Jerome Olive will be replacing Francois Fourmont who will retire at the end of the year. In 1982, Olive started at Renault. He transferred to Douai in 1996 for the start-up of the first-generation Scenic minivan.
He then spent three years leading the plant's body-in-white assembly department before being promoted to deputy director in charge of manufacturing in 1999. Since 2004, he has been serving as the factory director for Renault's car assembly plant in Douai, France.
