RennTECH G-Wagen Concept: when the tuning has no limits

As seen from the images of G-Wagen-inspired RennTECH diesel G-Series concept which they are considering for the future, the tuning company would rather do a turbodiesel version of the celebrity favorite Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen than modify another AMG G55 or convert another GLK hybrid into a racing car.
At this time a diesel version in the US is not available, however, there is an abundance of the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 from Mercedes which yields 376lb-ft of torque or they can choose a non-BlueTEC European version. Whichever way they take it, it is for certain that there will be more power involved. The images present the most current variant of the Gelandewagen with large wheels, a wide body kit and a more glossy metal finish. No production plans for this one yet. Photo gallery after the jump!
