Report: Schumacher to race for Mercedes in 2010

Michael Schumacher is making a comeback to the Formula One race but not with the team you’d expect him to be in. Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo said that in a talk with Schumacher a few days ago, he learned that there is a “very strong possibility” that the famous car racer will compete using a Mercedes next year. Schumacher had won five of his seven world championships with Ferrari but doesn’t seem to stop Schumacher from racing for another team. Montezemolo informed international reporters about this development at a Christmas dinner last Friday. Montezemolo kidded around, saying that Schumacher has a twin who has decided to “do a new career.” Montezemolo confirms that most fans will not like the news that Schumacher will be wearing silver in 2010.[via worldcarfans]
