Reva to launch two new cars at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show

The excitement for REVA‚ launching of two M1 vehicles at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) heats up some more with the announcement of technological advances available in its electric cars. The press will get their first glimpse of the cars on September 16.
At the IAA launch, REVA‚ website will go live, signaling that customers will then be able to register online to make it on the priority list to order the new cars. To be revealed are two models ‚ the REVA NXR and the REVA NXG. The REVA NXR is a four-seat, three-door hatchback family car suitable for urban driving. You may order the model during the show but production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2010. The second model is the REVA NXG, the company‚ model for 2011, which is a sporty two-seater with a targa roof. One of the most awaited is REVA‚ world premiere of REVive, a technology that allows the customer to telephone or SMS REVA for an instant remote recharge. Both the REVA NXR and the REVA NXG will feature the REVive telematics technology. Expect more technology and pricing announcements to be made at the IAA.
