Phantom ‘Year of the Dragon’ Bespoke Package

Rolls-Royce is the best at bringing 18th century styling into cars. And this shows in its latest project – a special package for the RR Phantom that is exclusively targeting the market in China. Marking the arrival of 2012, the Rolls-Royce Phantom ‘Year of the Dragon’ is actually just a one-off. Last November, the special saloon debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

A set of images has been released, highlighting the level of detail that has been placed into the making of this car.

Rolls Royce has announced that the model will soon enter production and that eight units will be built. These will all have a paintjob that takes inspiration from the Forbidden City. No price has been given yet but with its gold inserts, plush leather and hand-crafted details, not many will be able to afford it.
