Roush offers new modification package for the 2011 Mustang

Roush has prepared a new modification package for the 2011 Mustang that takes a moderate approach to both the appearance and its performance. Named the 2011 Roush Sport Mustang, this package offers an exciting series of visual and tech modifications. In terms of performance, Roush targeted its suspension, the brakes and the exhaust. Roush didn’t tweak the 5.0 liter V8 engine (except for the exhaust) and it still produces 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

The car’s exterior has been given a new front fascia with a splitter, a billet grille, side splitters, a reworked rear fascia and a three-piece rear wing. According to the tuning company’s press release, the signal that the 2011 ROUSH Sport Mustang sends out is that it is “no ordinary Mustang.” Roush claims that its “dramatic” Aero Body Kit and signature graphics are sure to catch everyone’s attention and offer a highly exciting take on a Ford classic.

"The heart of the 2011 ROUSH Sport Mustang is the all-new Ford 5.0L, V-8 engine. Nicknamed "Coyote" during the development phase, this powerplant generates 412 horsepower (and 390 lb.-ft. of torque), yet still can obtain 26 MPG on the highway. Employing twin independent variable camshaft timing (TiVCT) and cold air induction, the new 2011 Mustang engines deliver more power, greater off-the-line low-end torque – and increased fuel efficiency. There’s no such thing as compromise for these ponies." stated the press release.
