Rumor: Audi R8 ePerformance coming to Frankfurt

Yes, we know that the electric Audi R8 was denied officially, but it appears that the someone knows much more and that the new supercar will make its debut in September at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. Dubbed ePerformance, the new vehicle is a response to the Mercedes-Benz SLS eDrive but unlike the German car, the R8 ePerformance will come with a new body kit. According to our sources, the electric car will feature a new front grille, smaller air intakes because there are unnecessary for an electric car and will not come with the well-known grilles from the rear side. Also, new headlights will be installed featuring LED technology. More details to be revealed!
