Rumor: Lamborghini working on an SUV based on the new Porsche Cayenne

It appears that Lamborghini is currently working hard on new models and according to the latests reports, it appears that one of them will be a modern version of the monstrous LM002. Yes, Lamborghini is thinking to introduce an SUV to its current lineup, based on the same platform as the 2011 Porsche Cayenne and 2011 Volkswagen Touareg. For those who don't know, the LM002 was powered by a 5167 cc V12 engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. For the new generation we expect a smaller 4.8-liter V8 Biturbo engine, same found on the new Cayenne and capable to deliver 500 hp or more.[via caranddriver]
