Although the coupe didn’t even make its debut on the market, sources confirm the fact that the new car will also receive a sedan version. More like a four-door coupe, the new version has serious potential on the market in Toyota’s vision because it will be rear-wheel drive and will have an impressive design. The new car will not be developed in cooperation with Subaru, but it will use the same boxer engine as well as the manual or automatic transmission found on the FT-86. Set to make its debut in 2013, the new car will take on cars such as the Bmw 1- and 3-Series, Audi A3 and the Golf GTI. Regarding its price, this will be around $30,000. [via CarsGuide]
