Russian manufacturer preparing new coupe based on the Cayenne

The Moscow-based design studio called Russian Automotive Design (RAD) has come up with a unique design which involves the transformation of the Porsche Cayenne, a large SUV, into a sporty coupe with a high ride height. Currently, the unique Cayenne coupe is still in concept form and details have not been abundant but RAD is, for their own reason, making the car wider and longer. The rear section has been reduced and the fiber glass body panel construction looks like the car's styling apparently departs from the Cayenne SUV upon which it is patterned. Details of the styling have not yet been revealed but the car will come with more of a coupe-like silhouette. While the engine that's going to be employed in the car is likewise unconfirmed, there are speculations that it will still be equipped with its own engine, since RAD, which has previously manufactured a number of bespoke Cayenne, majority of them retained their own powertrains. The RAD Cayenne is set to be launched next year.
