Saab loan-guarantee decision still a couple of months away

It would take two months before the European Commission decides on whether the loan guarantees that Saab is asking from the Swedish government would be breaking rules on state support. According to Sweden's Enterprise Minister Maud Olofsson, that is the time frame that the Commission said it will have to take before it announces the ruling. Last week, the Swedish government asked the Commission for an assessment. Oloffson had given this statement to Reuters during a meeting of European ministers in Umea, northern Sweden.
