Although the size of the investment has not been decided, it is being speculated that SAIC Motor group, China's largest car manufacturer, will take a stake in Saab Automobile in partnership with Koenigsegg. It is believed that Koenigsegg is seeking to plug a three billion Swedish crown shortfall in its financing for the purchase of Saab. So far, SAIC has given no comment.
