Scagliarini Motorsports is working on its version of the FIAT 500 Coupè Zagato. The leading Abarth and FIAT 500 performance car firm in North America has committed to giving its take on the 500 Coupe by Zagato to the buyer who is believed to be a resident of the United Arab Emirates. Scagliarini Motorsports Managing Director Michael Salvarani said that he conceptualized the idea for the Scagliarini 500 Coupè Zagato Elaborata as he was riding on his bicycle one Saturday.
Salvarani said that he discussed the scheme with a client who immediately liked it and asked when the delivery could be scheduled. Salvarani said that after 60 hours of planning, the company created something that was “steps ahead of anything imagined.” He shared that they filled the rear windows of the FIAT 500 Coupe Zagato. It also received an Abarth 500 chassis as well as allwheel drive. He described the Scagliarini 500czè as “body, mind and spirit." Scagliarini Motorsports has dubbed its final elaboration of the 504 Coupè Zagato Elaborata (Scagliarini 504czè) as the "4" to indicate all-wheel drive. This is in reference to the FIAT 8v Elaborata by Zagato.
The company had envisioned the cagliarini 504czè even before the Centro Stile Scagliarini, the recently formed design house in Italy, was created. The company’s carbon fiber appointments that are meant for the Abarth 500 will be used on the Scagliarini 504czè too. The base Abarth 500 also received the following upgrades: Abarth 500 EsseEsse parts, Abarth front seats in alcantara, Brembo brakes, and a Ragazzon performance exhaust. The model was commissioned by someone who bought the Scagliarini 500u, a limited edition FIAT 500 by Scagliarini Motorsports, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italian agglomeration.
