Scion announces pricing for 2012 tc, xB and special edition tC RS 7.0

The pricing information for Scion’s 2012 xB, tC, and special-edition tC RS 7.0 has been announced. The 2012 model year models are being offered with a new set of standard equipment. The boxy xB will be getting a new Pioneer audio system with Bluetooth and HD radio capabilities as well as USB and auxiliary audio inputs. A 200-watt Pioneer audio system is available as an option, featuring a touch-screen interface, Pandora internet radio, and iTunes song tagging.
The 2012 Scion xB has a starting price of $17,020 (inclusive of a $720 destination charge) with a five-speed manual transmission. But when equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission, the starting price is $17,970. These prices are higher by $300 compared to the 2011 models. The Scion tC is offered with the same Pioneer audio system as standard. Its price was also increased by $300. The 2012 Scion tC with a six-speed manual transmission is priced at $19,295 (including destination costs).
But when equipped with a six-speed automatic, it’s priced at $$20,295. In addition, Scion announced pricing for the new, special-edition tC RS 7.0. This car is certainly striking with its High Voltage yellow paint, a set of black 18-inch wheels, fresh body parts, and black-and-yellow seats. Only 2,200 units will be produced of this model. When featured with a six-speed manual, the price is at $21,625 (including destination charges. But with a six-speed automatic, it’s priced at $22,625. Scion dealerships will be getting the 2012 xB and tC in July.
