Scuderia Ferrari F60 monopost illegal?

Scuderia Ferrari F60

The latest and recently launched F60 by Ferrari has been deemed "illegal" by Auto Motor und Sport, a German motoring publication, which said at last week's Mugello circuit in Italy that the car had rear exhaust outlets that did not meet the new technical standards. The "illegal" exhausts were pointed out by the rivals of Ferrari according to the publication. On the other hand, looking over at the other new cars unveiled, including McLaren, Renault, Toyota, and Williams, shows that indeed their exhausts are all located in-board.

Although the official word from Ferrari concerning their decamping to Mugello is the unfavorable weather forecast for this week, Auto Motor und Sport said that the F60 had some problems with its front wing when it was tested the previous week.

Due to these minor obstacles, it has been suggested that Ferrari will be doing the first major test closer to home in Maranello instead.
