Seat announces Ibiza ST

The Spanish carmaker has announced that it will launch the third version of its new Ibiza, the SEAT Ibiza ST. The Sports Tourer will be a wagon that will most likely offer the same engine range as the present variants. Power under the hood will come from a choice of 1.9 TDI with 105 hp, 1.6 16V with 105hp, 1.4 16V with 85hp or 1.2 12 V with 70hp. No other details were released except that the new model will be manufactured in Matorell (same factory where Audi is plannung to built its new Q3 SUV).
