A diesel engine version is now available for Seat’s sporty Ibiza FR range. It is powered by a 141bhp 1.6-liter turbodiesel unit the makes the car achieve more than 60mpg, with CO2 emissions of just 119g/km.

The car is able to get from zero to 62mph in 8.2sec and has a top speed of more than 130mph. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard. Its other features are climate control, ESP with a ‘virtual’ limited-slip differential built in and FR styling details inside and out. The Seat Ibiza FR TDI is available in both three and five-door guises. Deliveries will start in March for the car, which has a price tag of £16,465.
