To raise the brand appeal and to maintain its momentum for the most successful year yet, SEAT has decided to bring back its ‘Pay No VAT’ campaign. Its two most popular models – the Ibiza 5dr 1.4 SE Copa supermini and the sporty Leon 1.6 TDI S Copa family hatchback – are included in this offer. Just like SEAT models that have the ‘Copa’ badge, these two cars offer as standard a series of equipment --valued at hundreds of pounds -- that were previously available as optional extras. If SEAT pays for the 20% tax bill, buyers will only need to pay £10,699 RRP (representing savings of £2,105).
The Leon costs just £14,909, saving £2,970. Only retail customers can take advantage of the ‘Pay No VAT’ offer, subject to status. Terms and conditions apply. The Ibiza 5dr 1.4 SE Copa, which normally sells for £12,805 RRP, comes with 16” alloy wheels, climate control, rain-sensing wipers, auto-headlights, front fog lights with cornering function, cruise control, front electric windows and an MP3-compatible CD player with AUX-in. Normally retailing at £17,880 RRP, the Leon 1.6 TDI S Copa is equipped with 16” alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, Bluetooth, front fog lights with cornering function, cruise control, an MP3-compatible CD player with AUX-in, ESP stability program with XDS (electronic differential lock) and a Start/Stop system with energy recovery. In addition, SEAT offers several discounts on more of its models. Discounts of up to £1,500 off the RRP are offered in several Ibiza SC models like the Ibiza Cupra and Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra hot hatches. Meanwhile, the Ibiza 5dr and Ibiza ST models are available with discounts of up to £1,750.
"Certain Leon models are available with a whopping £2,000 customer saving, as are all Altea and Altea XL variants. Finally, the luxurious Exeo and Exeo ST ‘Tech’ versions are available with £2,000 off the RRP making them better value than ever." said the press release.
