Seat strengthens UK dealer network to prepare for new models

SEAT is boosting its dealer network in the United Kingdom as it establishes its outstanding performance in 2011 and prepares for its possibly most exciting year ever. With a range of new models set for launch this year, the company has attracted unparalleled interest from would-be retail partners all over the nation.With a record 1.86% share of the new vehicle market in the UK for the whole year in 2011 and with confidence in the brand at its highest ever level, SEAT has either recently opened or is set to launch seven new outlets, all in key strategic locations.
For one, leading South Wales automotive retailer Sinclair Group has opened a new showroom at its prestigious site in Gorseinon Road, Swansea. The group already represents SEAT's sister brands Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen.On the other hand, the Essex Auto Group has opened its second SEAT franchise in Thurrock's massive Lakeside retail complex. The Group's first SEAT dealership is thriving in Southend-on-Sea.
Moreover, the SEAT retailer Dales opened a new showroom on Newquay's outskirts at its existing site just off the A30 near Redruth, further enhancing the brand's image in the South West.The new dealerships come hot-on-the-heels of two other launches in key areas. The Eastern Western Motor Group launched its first SEAT dealership in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It is part of the most successful privately-owned motor groups in Scotland. Also, Mon Motors Group of South Wales launched its first SEAT franchise in Newport in November.
