Lamborghini released today the last teaser of the new concept that will make its debut tomorrow at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It appears that Lamborghini decided to continue its teaser campaign, despite the fact that the so-called Sesto Element Concept appeared In a photo on the web (you can see the photo here). What we do know about this concept is that it will show the new technologies that Lamborghini will use in its future cars.
The new concept dubbed Sesto Elemento, which means sixth element in English, is made almost exclusively using carbon fiber and has a total weight of 999 kg (2,200 pounds). It is powered by a V10 engine (instead of a V12, found on the Murcielago), but due to the fact that it is much lighter than the current Lamborghini cars it uses a smaller engine. It is expected to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.0 seconds while the top speed is expected to exceed 350 km/h (217 mph).
Despite its design which is quite impressive and inspired by the Reventon, the new car doesn’t look like a successor of the Murcielago and it appears to have the same dimensions as the Gallardo. When we will find the official details, we’ll try to make a comparison, so stay tuned!
