Mopar Dodge Challenger 1320

For those who don't know, the Dodge Challenger 1320 earned its name from the 1,320 feet on a quarter-mile drag strip and it appears that this vehicle wants to steal the show next month at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. In order to do this, the Mopar design team updated the car with today's technology: a new 426 cubic-inch, all-aluminum, HEMI V-8 crate engine capable to generate 556 hp (540 lb.-ft. of torque) was added, as well as long-tube headers and exhaust system allow the cubic inches to breathe, electric cutouts to allow the exhaust to bypass the muffler system and a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar police wheels, a widened rear end and street-legal drag radials complete this stylish car. The new program is completed by the non-metallic yellow paint and added matte black graphics. With the help of new carbon fiber bulged hood with HEMI scoop, front spoiler and Grille panel/headlamp surround the vehicle became lighter but also stronger. Inside we find Viper seats, a sport steering wheel and a Hurst shifter while the rear seat, center console and radio have been removed in order to reduce the weight even further.
