ICON Vehicle Dynamics used Suzuki’s award-winning Equator platform as its base and with the assistance of a variety of Southern California-based suppliers, was able to assemble a more aggressive interpretation of Suzuki’s off-road vehicle.

The Equator’s class-leading 4.0 liter V6 is amplified by Doug Thorley long-tube headers and cat-back exhaust. When you go off-road, you’ll be glad to know that the Equator’s suspension is enhanced with ICON’s own performance coilovers in front and 2.5-inch piggyback shocks supporting linked to Total Chaos upper control arms. Now that the vehicle already has power and the capability, ICON gave it Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires mounted to Trail Ready bead-lock wheels. Protecting the Equator’s bodywork are Bushwacker fender flares. For utility and safety, the car is provided with AMP Research bed extender and LightForce lights. Photo gallery after the jump!
