Few weeks ago we saw the Hyundai Genesis Sedan by RKSport, today the Korean manufacturer unveiled another customized sedan which will be built in cooperation with Rides Magazine. Dubbed Rides Genesis, the vehicle will include, besides a stylish body kit, the latest technology both inside and outside.
The interior will feature multiple Mac computers (two Mac Mini computers, a MacBook Air), its own mobile Wi-Fi network, an iPod Touch and iPhone 3G, high-speed Wi-Fi internet connection and movie theater-quality surround sound.
The trunk of the vehicle will feature another Mac Mini, a 20-inch Apple Cinema Display and a motorized tray featuring the mouse and keyboard for the rear computer.
Enough with the interior! The exterior of the vehicle will feature a re-designed front bumper, new side sills, a lowered suspension, smoked headlights, a new rear bumper with new exhaust cutters and a special metallic silver and blue paint job.
Michael Deitz, manager for Product Development at Hyundai Motor America, remarked that the carmaker’s Genesis sedan features a roomy and ultra-quiet cabin that offers an ideal environment for experimenting with new in-vehicle information and entertainment systems.
He quipped that with the addition of state-of-the-art connectivity and computing power to existing technology -- like navigation, Bluetooth and satellite radio -- RIDES Genesis provides a peek into the “future of hi-tech luxury.”
SEMA attendees could visit Hyundai’s booth to take a closer look at the RIDES Genesis. Complementing the RIDES Genesis’ high-tech interior are clean exterior modifications like custom-molded front body kit and side skirts, as well as 22-inch custom-made staggered fitment MHT three-piece wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.
Other modifications include lowered suspension and smoked headlights. Accentuating the metallic silver and blue finish of this SEMA Genesis are custom dual-tip stacked exhausts and custom-molded rear bumper.
