2010 SEMA Show: Kia unveils Forte Hybrid Concept

Article by Christian Andrei, on November 3, 2010

Kia introduced today at the 2010 SEMA Show the Forte Hybrid Concept, a compact hybrid sedan that promises to be anything but boring. Demonstrating that a hybrid vehicle can also be attractive, the new car was created by Kinetic Motorsports, and carries a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine fueled by liquefied petroleum gas (propane) as well as a new lithium polymer battery with accentuated design characteristics.

Regarding the design, do not expect anything fancy, as the car features new body panel enhancements and a lowered stance, to create a one-of-a-kind personality for the environmentally-friendly sedan.

The design of the Forte Hybrid Concept is accentuated by cast aluminum alloy wheels and low-rolling resistance tires, which helps it to improve fuel economy but also reduce road noise.

Furthermore, the interior of the car introduces custom enhancements, while a 1200 watt Infinity audio system will entertain passengers.

If you are a fan of the customized hybrid vehicles, then you should definitely check the Toyota Prius C&A Custom Concept, a new car that introduces an aggressive body kit for the most popular hybrid car found on the market.

Still, if you are not satisfied, you can read all about the Toyota Prius PLUS Performance Package. If you don’t like these cars, then you should definitely check the six custom hybrid vehicles revealed by Lexus.
