As you may know already, the all-new 2011 Chevrolet Silverado made its debut earlier this year at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, and brought 2500HD models and eight single- and dual-rear-wheel 3500HD models.
Today, at the 2010 SEMA Show, Chevrolet revealed a new accessorized 2500HD Extended Cab Z71 equipped with the new 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel engine mated to a Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission.
The new car features a Switchblade Silver color with satin low-gloss finish, new body-color grille, hard folding tonneau cover, a new hitch-mounted winch, Amber roof lamps, custom 71 graphics, as well as a new set of Chevrolet Accessory 20-inch wheels painted Corvette Competition Gray.
Inside, we find Dark Titanium leather, Chevrolet Accessory interior trim plate kit with custom show paint, Dual DVD headrests with HD WiFi headphones, navigation radio and Autonet mobile Wi-Fi.
Regarding the engine of the car, the new 6.6-liter Duramax diesel delivers up to 11-percent greater highway fuel economy and up to 63-percent lower emissions.
Furthermore, it can run using B20 biodiesel capability and delivers better acceleration. Other technologies found on the 2011 Silverado are mobile WiFi, USB connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, XM Satellite Radio, OnStar 9.0 and navigation.
