Vortech Superchargers announced a special version of the 2015 Ford Mustang that will make its debut at the 2014 SEMA Show. The new vehicle highlight the supercharger kit developed for the 2015 Mustang GT powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine. According to Vortech, the vehicle you see in the photos features a V3si supercharged which boosts the engine output from 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque to 640 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque.

Vortech says that its superchargers can boost the output of the 5.0-liter V8 engine found on the Mustang to over 1,200 hp. As you can see from the photos, the vehicle also received a design upgrade which consists of a 3D Carbon lip kit, 20-inch Forgestar F-14 wheels, Steeds coilovers and Baer brakes.

The V8 engine sounds pretty amazing but we are eager to see some upgrades for the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers in the standard form 310 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque.

For those who don’t know, the 2015 Ford Mustang starts at $24,425 when powered by the standard 3.7-liter V6 engine and at $25,995 when using the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. Meanwhile, the 2015 Mustang GT and its 5.0-liter V8 costs $32,925. [source: autoguide.com]
