Sergio Marchionne is the new CEO of Chrysler

It is now confirmed, the newly forged partnership between Fiat and Chrysler will see the former CEO, Sergio Marchionne, become the new CEO of Chrysler. Marchionne, who will formally head Chrysler after it comes out of bankruptcy in 60 days, was the man behind Fiat's revival to profitability back in 2005 after several years of losses. Bob Nardelli, the present CEO of Chrysler will relinquish his post in June, but Thomas LaSorda, the firm's president and the man behind much of the work with Fiat, has made it public that he will resign much earlier.
