Skoda unveils facelifted Octavia RS and Scout

As you may know already, the facelifted Skoda Octavia made its debut last year at the Paris Motor Show and in order to complete its fleet the manufacturer revealed today the brand new Octavia RS and Scout. Both vehicles feature the same restyling but also new technologies such as a sensor for the air quality combined with the Climatronic system and the innovative lightning system. For the first time, the Octavia RS is available with adaptive headlights, daytime running LEDs and Corner Light system. The new RS has been lowered with 127 mm while the total weight was reduced with 20 kg for the petrol version and 15 kg for the diesel version.
Under the hood the Octavia RS features the 2.0-liter TSI engine capable to deliver 200 hp (147 kW) and a fuel consumption of 7.5 l/100 km as well as 175 g/km CO2 emissions. The diesel version of the RS carries the 2.0-liter delivering 170 hp (125 kW) capable to offer a medium fuel consumption of 5.7 l/100 km and 150 g/km CO2 emissions. Both versions are offered with a manual six-speed gearbox or an automatic double-clutch DSG gearbox.The Octavia Scout, features two engines: a 1.8 TSI engine delivering 160 hp (118 kW) and 2.0 TDI PD Diesel engine with 140 hp (103 kW) connected to a manual 6-speed gearbox.
