SLS AMG Black Series to make its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

It is not a secret anymore that Mercedes-Benz is preparing a Black Series version of the SLS AMG but what we didn’t know is that the German manufacturer will introduce the new car in September, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Set to go on sale early next year, the new SLS AMG Black Series will come with redesigned front and rear bumpers in for improved aerodynamics, a new large rear spoiler and a new set of four trapezoidal exhaust pipes. Under the hood we will find the same 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering around 650 hp and bolted to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels. According to Autocar, the chassis will also be improved and the car will feature wider tracks, adjustable dampers, new springs, revised bushes and an additional camber. Moreover, due to the power increase, the SLS AMG Black Series is expected to show an improved braking system.
