SMS 570X Challenger
Finally, the SMS 570 / 570X Challenger developed by the well-known Steve Sallen was officially unveiled. Based on the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T platform, the new vehicle features the patented SMS Red Butterfly Induction hood and a full compliment of SMS ultra-high performance components such as: drivetrain, suspension,aerodynamics, tires, wheels and interior. Under the hood we find a SMS 296 Supercharger which boosts the 5.7L Hemi to an impressive 500 hp (700 hp for the SMS 570X Challenger). The 2009 SMS 570 Challenger and SMS 570X Challenger are priced at $60,000 to $70,000 respectively. Each of these limited edition vehicle will be personally signed by Steve Saleen as part of the Signature Series product line, complete with unique badges and graphics.
