After extensive research and development South Side Performance has found a turbo combination that results in a generation of 820 hp for Nissan's most current supercar. These turbochargers are extremely high performance capable allowing GT-R owners to run more power on lower boost. This is the first true great power uprate offered for the R35 GT-R, is a direct-bolt on ball bearing turbo that uses CHRA oil lube and is water cooled. The upgrade requires only a single line to be changed and can be appropriately installed with basic equipment and tools.
The price of the kit, $6,499.00, includes stock turbos machining and installation of uprated actuator, 53.8mm turbine wheel, 68mm high pressure billet aluminum compressor wheel with efficiency reaching up to 32psi.
The turbos were particularly designed for lower boost and bigger power and employ the fastest spooling turbos offered for such a size and application. The resulting product is a turbo that generates greater power at the level of stock boost and begins generating boost lower rpms than stock which permits the GT-R to enjoy the benefits of power with lower measurements in the power band.
