Spied: Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

2011 Continental Supersports Convertible

Back in October, we revealed you the fact that Bentley is considering a convertible version of the Continental Supersports, which was unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Well, today we have the proof! Thanks to a vigilant eye, the new Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible was caught wearing no disguise and it appears that we will see it in March, at the same Geneva Motor Show.

Regarding the engine of the new convertible, the manufacturer will use the same 6.0-liter W-12 engine capable to deliver an impressive 630 hp at 6000 rpm and 800 Nm of torque at 1700-5600 rpm.

Although we don't know anything about the performances of the new car, we expect these to be at least the same or better than those from the coupe version: 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds while the top speed is limited electronically to 329 km/h (204 mph). Also the price is expected to be higher, as the coupe version was priced at $267,000.
