Sportec SC350 takes the Vw Scirocco to another level

Car tuners are currently turning their attention on the Vw Scirocco, the newest version of which comes from the Swiss high-end tuning firm Sportec. The tuning program for the Scirocco includes optimization of performance, sports suspension, stylish wheels and engineering components that aim at general enhancements.

The original power yield of 200hp from the 2-liter gasoline unit after optimization is now available from 240hp to 350hp. Maximum torque for the top variant was improved from 280 to 480Nm. The combination of engine electronics with a stainless steel exhaust along with a turbocharger from Sportec, a charge-air intercooler and revised fuel system have together enhanced the car’s performance level. Sportec suspension springs lower the coupe by 35mm thereby largely improving handling and transverse dynamics and are totally compatible with the adaptable with the DCC shock-absorber system. For added grip during a rather sportier ride, the coupe comes with the Sportec differential lock.

The coupe also features 20-inch Sportec Mono/10 wheelset together with an ultra-lightweight 9×20inch spoke rim wrapped with 245/30 rubber. Passengers will take pleasure in a 4-part floor mat set created from soft velour and an interior from carbon with the tuning firm’s emblem. All of these enhancements make the Sportec SC 350 not only fast and furious but also a delectable machine to ride.
