Sportec SPR1 M coming to the Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show will be the platform upon which Sportec will showcase a totally potent car derived on the Porsche (997) 911 Turbo model called the Sportec SPR1 M. Making the SPR1 M highly exclusive is the fact that only be 10 of these cars that will ever be made. The totally rebuilt vehicle now comes with carbon fiber material for its main components guaranteeing a very high power/rate ratio. It will come with the T80 M powerplant that can produce 858hp (631kW) and 880Nm of maximum torque. Although performance numbers are not yet available at this time, basing from the preceding variant of the car, the SPR1, which could generate only 800hp (558kW) can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3 seconds, from 0-200km/h in 8.6 seconds and 0-300km/h in 18.9 seconds. Since the SPR1 M can generate more power and comes with very light, it will surely out perform its predecessor and should top the 3 second sprint rating. Sportec will also introduce an array of other cars at the impending Geneva event. This lineup is composed of the Audi R-6-derived Sportec RS700 and the 997 GT2 based Sportec SP750 which comes with 750hp (552kW), 850Nm package. Finally, Sportec will exhibit not only powerful vehicles, but also those that are friendlier to the environment as well, namely the SP550 mc that utilizes a 3.6-liter dual-turbo powerplant with gas-injection. The designation "mc" stands for mean and clean.
