At the MPH The Prestige and Performance Motor Show at Earls Court in London, the Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder recently made its UK debut. Spyker, which now owns Saab, has been in the news a lot as Saab is in the midst of being relaunched. Saab enters the scene with a vehicle powered by a 4.2 liter V8 that delivers 400 hp and features aircraft-inspired styling cues such as jet engine-inspired air intakes, exterior mirrors mounted on two turbine fan blades and unique 10-blade 19-inch Rotorblade alloy wheels.

The C8 Aileron Spyder also features a high-quality canvas soft-top with a glass rear windscreen, which can be drawn electro-hydraulically out of sight, guaranteeing a clean, undisturbed profile.

The company’s motto ‘Nulla Tenaci Invia Est Via’ (which translates to “for the tenacious, no road is impassable”) is featured on the aluminum tonneau, with two buttresses upholstered in quilted leather that match the interior. The press release stated further that an aluminum luggage rack is fitted right behind the roll hoops, on which a purpose-designed wing-shaped aluminum, leather-trimmed luggage case can be strapped.
