Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85

Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 represents the latest addition from the Dutch manufacturer and has been built and designed in the spirit of the Spyker Squadron GT2 race cars. The LM85 name comes from the starting number of the GT2 cars that had been competing in the Le Mans series since 2002. The new C8 Laviolette LM85 will be built in a very limited edition of just 24 units, each featuring a lightweight aluminium body, an 4.2-litre V8 engine built by Audi and capable to deliver 400 hp connected to a manual six-speed Getrag gearbox and a Drexler limited slip differential. The vehicle can sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds while the top speed is limited to 200 km/h (186 mph). In order to stop the car safely the vehicle features black AP Racing 6-piston brake calipers featuring AP Racing logo.

At the exterior the vehicle includes a Burnt Almond Orange color with Gun Metal S logo, side mirrors in body color, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler and a GT2 windscreen streamer. The body kit is completed by the the black powder coated alloy wheels. The interior features an ample use of black leather and alcantara which is originally meant to reduce light reflection during racing.The black floor mats are also special and made of fire protective material, finished with orange piping and the LM85 logo embroidered. As a bonus each of the 24 lucky owners of the car will also receive a special edition Spyker Chronoswinss 24H Pilot watch featuring a orange crocodile strap and the number of the car engraved on the case. The big surprise will be though the invitation at Le Mans in a special VIP Hospitality weekend in June 2009 which will include:

  • Two Round-Trip Business class tickets from city of residence to Amsterdam,
  • the Netherlands Two Round-Trip tickets from Rotterdam,
  • the Netherlands, on board of the Spyker  to Le Mans Airport in France
  • Passes to the 24 Hours of Le Mans race track on June 13/14, 2009
