Spyker CFO Hans Go planning to resign

Spyker Cars NV’s chief financial officer, Hans Go, is planning to resign, the company said in a statement. Effective July 1, Go will step down as statutory director of Spyker. Saab resumed production last Friday after it received funds from China-based Pang Da, its new partner. Two months ago, Saab’s production had to shut down since it wasn’t able to pay suppliers. Spyker said that its operations will exclusively consist of only Saab activities due to the planned sale of the sports car business to Vladimir Antonov.
Because of these changes, the new Saab Automobile CFO (who will be named before the year ends) will take on the role of Spyker's CFO. For a temporary period, Rob Schuyt will assume the role of CFO of the Spyker group while also serving temporarily as Saab Automobile's CFO. Schuyt was recently named as Spyker’s statutory director.
Go will continue to serve as advisor until the end of 2011. Earlier this week, Saab revealed that Pang Da made an additional order of 630 cars, valued at 15 million euros. Pang Da’s initial order was for 1,300 cars valued at 30 million euros. Pang Da will give its payment in advance. Delivery of these vehicles is expected to start in the third quarter. Last week, senior Pang Da representatives, along with company chairman Pang Qinghua, visited Saab's factory in Trollhattan last week to witness production start again after being stopped for nearly two months.
