According to our trusted sources, Spyker will produce a GT1 version of the C8 Aileron, which was unveiled this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The new car will make its debut in 2010 and will replace the C8 Laviolette GT2 in the American Le Mans Series.

For those who don’t know, the C8 Aileron is a significant step for the Dutch manufacturer and comes with the 4.2 V8 engine manufacture by Audi and capable do deliver 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque. It can hit 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds while the top speed is limited to 300 km/h (187 mph). The price tag for the standard vehicle is: €189,990 (with manual gearbox, excluding options) or €195,990 (with automatic gearbox, excluding options). Photo gallery after the jump!
