The Toyobaru project has been met with much excitement and this never died down even after the models in the series were officially revealed. After Toyota confirmed that it will soon launch a supercharged version of the GT 86, Subaru released a rendering of a convertible version of the BRZ on theophiluschin.com. Since reports came out that Toyota and Subaru might collaborate on a sports car, the Toyota GT 86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S had stayed on headlines whether these were about the official unveiling, spyshots, or any other details.
