Suzuki has revealed three new accessory packs for its new adventure bike, the V-Strom 650 ABS. This gives the owners the option of enhancing their ride, whether it’s for the day-to-day commute, going away on the weekend or even a tour of the continent. If the owner wants further practicality, the ‘Tourer Pack’ provides useful elements at just £499 including fitment and VAT. This pack for the V-Strom includes a Knuckle Guard set that offers protection on the hands, a 14 litre magnetic Tank Bag, Tank Protector, a styled Under Cowling, Accessory Bar and branded Chain Guard.
This package is priced £121 lower than if the individual parts and labor price were added. Those who drive longer distances may want the new Adventure Pack that has a price tag of £999 including fitment and VAT. It provides everything that’s on the Tourer Pack (except for the Tank Bag) but the Adventure version has the Vario Touring Screen, enabling the rider to adjust the level of weather protection. It also features a Centre Stand that’s easy to maintain as well as a 42-litre Top Case.
This represents savings of £291 over the price of the individual parts. The ‘GT Pack’ offers more practicality and a bigger luggage capacity as well nearly all the features from the Adventure Pack. It also has side cases that add 70-litres to the luggage space. It is priced at £1,299 including fitment and VAT, which is £360 lower than if the individual parts and labor costs were added up.
