In this period of economic downturns rumors are seriously taking advantage as people take for granted the flow of information which surrounds the business environment. It is also the case of the famous Japanese automaker, Suzuki, which has been lately affected by different chit-chats meant to question its economic stability. Rumors claiming that Volkswagen is to take over 10% stake in the Japanese producer are not very well received by Suzuki's officials. Despite this, since several reports showed that is very possible to see a collaboration between the two companies on a microcar for the Asian market, Suzuki's shares raised by 5.5%. So far there's been absolutely no contact with Volkswagen. Lately, we've been the victim of a lot of rumors, declared Osamu Suzuki, CEO of Suzuki. After its official statement Suzuki's shares fell by 2.5%.
